June 23, 2006: The Natural Orifice Surgery / Scarless operations (NOS / SLO) working group had its first meeting in Berlin, Germany.
March 28, 2007: The second meeting of the NOS / SLO working group took place at the Savoy Hotel, Berlin.
January 10-11, 2008: Michael Stark and George Peltecu took part as advisors in the WHO conference "Safe Surgery Saves Lives", which took place in Geneva, Switzerland. The NESA participates in the formulation and distribution of a surgical checklist that will contribute to the safety of surgery.

December 12, 2008: During the SOGOG 2008 and 1st National Congress on Evidence Based Ob/Gyn Practices, Michael Stark delivered the Silver Jubilee Oration. The conference was hosted by the Ahmedabad Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society.
