About NESA

 

The New European Surgical Academy (NESA) was founded in 2004 as an initiative of leading surgeons from different disciplines in order to:

  • re-evaluate existing surgical procedures
  • optimize and rationalize them where necessary
  • introduce new surgical procedures and ideas
  • share and transfer the gathered know-how to countries with limited resources

The following disciplines are represented in the academy:

  • general surgery
  • otolaryngology
  • urology
  • obstetrics and gynaecology
  • anaesthesiology

The NESA has cooperation agreements with the following institutions:
